The Bible teaches that local churches are to be under-shepherded by guys we call “Elders.” Scripture uses a few different names for them: overseers, elders, pastors. But it’s the same role. These men are entrusted with relational and strategic care and oversight for the church members and their families. They’re here, commissioned by Jesus and His church, to help us all move closer to Jesus.
David Griffiths | Pastor/Elder
David has been in theological training, preacher-schools, and pastoral ministry since 1995. Born in WI but raised in Detroit, David moved back home to Wisconsin and came on staff at FBC in 2008. He is married and has three kids.
Bryan is a Palmyra native. Schooled in Milwaukee, he has held various engineering and management positions around the state and Illinois. He and his family of six have been attending FBC since 2011. Bryan has been an elder since 2015.
Tom raised his family on Blue Spring Lake. He's sort-of trying to retire from his electrical company. He and his wife began attending FBC a month before David came. Tom's been an elder since 2011.
Tony moved to Wisconsin in 1990. After 45 years in the farm equipment industry, he now spends a few hours each week helping with administrative tasks at FBC. He enjoys turning wood, and working on his tractor and motorcycle. He and his wife live in rural East Troy.
