We are…
a fellowship of Christians in Palmyra, Wisconsin. We gather weekly to learn from the Word of God, and to connect with one another. FBC is a Non-Denominational Bible Church. This means we are independent, unaffiliated with a specific denomination. FBC was founded on orthodox Christian doctrine, and holds true to that faith still.
We share most beliefs with most Christian churches, and we share many of the values of most Bible-believing churches. Our important distinctives include a vigilance about our sincere reliance on God’s Word and the power of the Gospel, as well as our focus on calling everyone to follow Christ, while protecting a culture of non-coercive grace.
Our Mission
Our goal, as Jesus said it, is to “go make disciples together.” That is, in everything we do, we’re encouraging each other to trust Jesus more; to let Him lead.
The way we do that is to talk about Jesus and what He’s done for us. We don’t need to pressure or guilt or shame or coerce. We can just point to Jesus and what He’s done, and allow God’s grace to work.
Our hope is that everyone we come in contact with experiences the kindness of God and walks away giving thanks for Him, and for His people, a little more.
History
Fellowship Bible Church was established in Palmyra, WI in 1982. Founded by a group of Christian friends and hosted in their living rooms, it soon moved into the Irving Young Community Center. When the group outgrew that space, it moved across the hall into the Palmyra-Eagle Middle School Gym, where we continue to hold our Sunday worship services. We host mid-week Bible studies at our 114 Main Street offices.
We hope to begin building our own church building soon, but we remain deeply grateful for our accommodations.
