The Storm is Coming: Job 32-37

The Storm is Coming: Job 32-37
David Griffiths

Elihu is such an interesting character. Other than Job, there may not be any more character in the book of Job whose role is more widely disputed. Is Elihu a bad friend? Is Elihu the true friend?

This is because Elihu is both. Elihu begins as a frustrated fool—kind of like most of Job’s readers by this point in the book! But then something happens to Elihu. Elihu seems the storm-clouds gathering and knows that, unbelievably, God Himself is in fact answering Job’s request.

Through Elihu we learn some absolutely critical lessons.
