Bad (and Good) Spiritual Guides: Jeremiah 23
How can we know who to follow, who to listen to, and what spiritual guides we ought to avoid? This has been a problem since the days of Jeremiah, through the New Testament era, and onto today.
Not every one who claims to speak for the LORD actually does. And not everyone who claims to speak for Jesus actually leads us toward Him.
Jeremiah 23 provides four marks of bad spiritual guides, and the two all-important marks of a true and good spiritual guide.
