Great News for Hard Seasons: Jeremiah 29:1-14
Jeremiah 29:11 is often used to give people hope—often, it seems, a version of hope that sets them up for disappointment.
But when it’s read in the context of the exile—that God sent the people of Judah into exile that they might relearn their need for Him and how to be His—Jeremiah 29:11 provides a deep, profound, astonishing hope. It’s a hope that every single on us living in exile needs every day.
