Having It and Wanting It: 1 John 5:13-15
It’s really important to John that his readers (us) know, like really really know, that the truths of the Gospel are true for us.
And the place this knowledge shows up in our lives (or doesn’t) is in our prayers.
And so John teaches us some really exciting, but really often misunderstood, and frankly really quite confusing, truths about prayer, that point us toward a wonderful, beautiful, life of prayer.
