Rest for Your Souls: Jeremiah 6:13-23

We all of us have a wound in our souls—a rending duality of self: one which wants what we want and will do what we want to get it, and another that wants to at least appear to be a good person and, hey why not, religious.

But this is not how we want to be, not truly.

We need God to provide healing for our souls. it’s the old, old, path, the ancient and good way: repent, believe, obey.

(This is not what we do to be saved, but what we do to enjoy God’s healing grace.)
